1. Description of the Service

StopBlunders is a chess analysis platform that retrieves publicly available Chess.com data and provides insights about a user's performance. StopBlunders is not affiliated with Chess.com, Google, YouTube, or any referenced third parties.

2. User Accounts

To access key features, you must sign in via Google OAuth. The following information may be collected:

• Name
• Email
• Profile image
• Connected Chess.com username

You are accountable for your own account's security and all actions performed under it.

3. Subscription Plans & Payments

StopBlunders offers:

• Free Trial (1 day)
• Free Tier
• Basic Tier
• Pro Tier

Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. Credit card details are never stored by StopBlunders. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled via the Stripe Billing Portal. Refunds are generally not available except where legally required.

4. "As Is" and "At Your Own Risk" Clause

The user acknowledges and agrees that:

• The service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available."
• All use of StopBlunders is at the user's own legal and non-legal responsibility.
• The owner and platform operators are not liable for:
  • Errors or inaccuracies in analysis
  • Missing data
  • Server outages
  • Incorrect API responses from Chess.com
  • Incorrect recommendations, predictions, or statistics
  • Limitations of technology, algorithms, or external services

You understand and accept that the service uses automated tools and APIs that may produce imperfect or incomplete results. While StopBlunders makes reasonable efforts and uses modern technologies to improve accuracy and reliability, no guarantee is provided, and results may not always be error-free or suitable for any specific purpose.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access accounts or data that do not belong to you
• Abuse or overload the platform
• Circumvent subscription limits
• Reverse-engineer or copy the platform
• Use the service for unlawful activities

Violation may result in account suspension or deletion.

6. Data & Content

• Raw Chess.com games are not stored permanently.
• Only analysis results and history are saved.
• YouTube videos are embedded or linked but not hosted by us.
• Opponent scouting is based solely on public Chess.com data.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion permanently removes:

• Personal profile data
• Chess.com connection
• Analysis history
• OAuth tokens

This action cannot be undone.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• StopBlunders is not responsible for any damages arising from use or inability to use the service.
• We are not liable for: Loss of rating, incorrect chess analysis, third-party outages (Chess.com, YouTube, Google, Stripe), data loss, delays, bugs, or malfunctions.

Total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the user during the previous 12 months.

9. Modification of Service

StopBlunders may add or remove features, change pricing, restrict access, or update technical infrastructure. Significant changes will be communicated by email when possible.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable EU law and any relevant jurisdiction where the service operates.
